Remove/install

Open engine hood

 See information from vehicle manufacturer.

Remove radiator unit

Undo screw/bolts (2) at belt pulley (1)

 Counterhold belt pulley (1).



Remove poly-V belt (4)

Remove belt pulley (1)

Remove coolant thermostat housing (5)

Remove tensioning device (3) at the oil filter housing

Remove banjo bolt from banjo union (8) for bleed line

 Installation: Install new sealing rings.

Detach coolant hose (9)

Remove screw/bolts (7)

 Installation: Pay attention to the different lengths of the screw/bolts (7). Tighten screw/bolts (7) cross-wise.



Remove coolant pump (6) and gasket (10)

 Installation: Replace seal (10).

Clean sealing surfaces on oil filter housing and coolant pump (6)

Install in the reverse order
