1 Intake air hose upstream of air filter

2 Bracket (for engine 646.984/985/986)

3 Coolant thermostat housing

B11 Coolant temperature sensor

4 Electrical connector

5 Coolant hose

6 Coolant hose

 	Remove/install
1	Drain coolant		AR20.00-D-1140SD
2	Remove intake air hose upstream of air filter (1)
3	Detach bracket (2) and place to one side	With engine 646.984/985/986
		 Installation: Ensure that the lines are seated correctly in the bracket (2).
4	Disconnect electrical connector (4)
5	Detach coolant hoses (5, 6) at coolant thermostat housing (3)	 Installation: Check hose clamp on coolant hose (5) and clamp on coolant hose (6) for damage; replace if necessary.
6	Detach coolant thermostat housing (3) at cylinder head	Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and install new gasket.

7	Remove coolant temperature sensor (B11)	 Only when replacing the coolant thermostat housing (3).
		 Installation: Replace sealing ring.
8	Install in the reverse order
