1 Clip new seal (2) into bypass flap (1).
2 Position exhaust gas recirculation positioner (Y27/15) on bypass flap (1), insert bolts (3) and align exhaust gas recirculation positioner (Y27/15) in relation to bypass flap (1).
3 Screw on exhaust gas recirculation positioner (Y27/15) and bypass flap (1) using assembly bolt M615 (4).
4 Pull out bolts (3).
5 Clip new seal (5) into exhaust gas recirculation positioner (Y27/15).

6 Attach exhaust gas recirculation positioner (Y27/15) with bypass flap (1) to exhaust gas recirculation line (6) and tighten with bolts (3) finger-tight.
Exhaust gas recirculation positioner (Y27/15) with bypass flap (1) must be positioned on exhaust gas recirculation line (6) without clearance.
7 Clip new seal (7) into bypass flap (1).

8 Install exhaust gas recirculation cooler (8) on bypass flap (1) with two bolts (9) and tighten finger-tight.
9 Align exhaust gas recirculation cooler (8) in relation to brackets (10, 11) and tighten with bolts (12, 13) finger-tight.
If necessary, align exhaust gas recirculation cooler (8) and exhaust gas recirculation positioner () with bypass flap (1) in relation to brackets (10, 11).
10 Remove bolts (9, 12, 13) and remove exhaust gas recirculation cooler (8).
Do not change installation position of exhaust gas recirculation positioner with bypass flap (1) relative to exhaust gas recirculation line.

11 Tighten bolts (3) on exhaust gas recirculation positioner (Y27/15) with bypass flap (1) on exhaust gas recirculation line (6).
Observe tightening torque.
12 Remove assembly bolt M615 (4).
