Remove poly-V-belt (1)

When carrying out further operations on the engine or timing case cover, relieve pressure on tensioning device. Inspect belt pulley sections and tensioning device for damage and dirt, replace if necessary.

Check poly-V belt for wear and damage

Do not use belt wax or any similar products. Fit on poly-V belt (1), beginning at the tensioner pulley.
