Open engine hood

Remove front engine cover (1)

Pull out the front engine cover (1) from the mounts.

Remove left and right intake air duct (2)

Loosen and remove the poly-V-belt (3)

For this purpose, use the hexagon (4) and swivel the tensioning pulley (5) in a clockwise direction (arrow).

Take off the poly-V-belt (3) and decelerate the tensioning pulley (5).

Check

Inspect belt pulley tread pattern, belt pulley sections and tensioning device for damage and dirt, replace if necessary.

Check poly-V belt (3) and replace if required

Check poly-V-belt in visible area for wear

Install

Fit on poly-V-belt (3), then clamp

For this purpose, use the hexagon (4) and swivel the tensioning pulley (5) in a clockwise direction (arrow).

Fit on poly-V-belt (3) and slacken the tensioning pulley (5).

Fit on poly V-belt (3) as specified in the running diagram:

Do not use wax or similar products, as this may cause poly-V-belt (3) to slip.

Install the left and right intake air duct (2)

Install front engine cover (1)

Close engine hood
