Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.

Remove engine intake air duct (1)

Remove wideband silencer

Loosen poly-V-belt (2) and remove

For this purpose, use the torx cutout (3) and swivel the tensioning pulley (4) in a clockwise direction (arrow).

Take off poly V-belt (2) and loosen tensioning pulley (4).

Check

Inspect belt pulley tread pattern, belt pulley sections and tensioning device for damage and dirt, replace if necessary.

Check poly-V belt (2) and replace if required

Check poly-V-belt in visible area for wear

Install

Fit on poly-V-belt (2), then clamp

For this purpose, use the torx cutout (3) and swivel the tensioning pulley (4) in a clockwise direction (arrow).

Fit on poly-V-belt (2) and loosen the tensioning pulley (4).

Fit on poly V-belt (2) as specified in the running diagram:
