1 | Remove service cover | ||
2 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) at MR control unit (10) | Pull circlip for unlocking upwards. | |
3 | Disconnect electrical connector (2) at MR control unit (10) | Swivel circlip for unlocking downwards. | |
4 | Expose engine wiring harness (4) at bracket (1) | ||
5 | Remove mounting clamp (5) on MR control unit (10) | ||
6 | Remove MR control unit (10) from crankcase | Installation: Insert MR control unit (10) with rubber mounts (6) and bracket (1). | |

7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Reteach in transponder key (also spare key) and read out fault memory; delete it if necessary | Only when replacing MR control unit (10). | |
