4 | Remove the bolts (2) fastening the flywheel (1) | Installing: Check the length (L) of the flywheel fastening bolts. Slightly oil the flywheel bolts. | |

5 | Screw-on the centering mandrels (3) in two opposite tapped holes | | |
6 | Remove, from the flywheel housing, the device for turning and locking the engine | | |
7 | Remove the engine flywheel (1) | Installing: Lubricate the flywheel ring gear. | |

8 | Check the flywheel false race | Replace the worn or damaged false race . | |
Install the false race on the flywheel | |||
9 | Check the engine flywheel (1) for condition. | Should the friction surface present cracks, fissures or damages: | |
Machine the flywheel. | |||
10 | Check the engine flywheel ring gear for condition. | In the case of wear: | |
Replace the ring gear. | |||
11 | Install in reverse order |
