Remove the oil filter element and check the outer segments of the oil filter element for metal chips and other evidence



Replace the oil/water heat exchanger

Only in case of metal chips found in the segments of the oil filter element or in the motor oil circuit.

Remove the oil pump, disassemble it and visually check for wear or damage

Fuel the oil installation

Only if engine has been repaired due to damage in the crankshaft bearings.

Change the engine oil and the oil filter element


