| Remove/install | ||
| Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts | ||
1 | Open engine hood and raise to vertical position | ||
2 | Remove air filter housing | ||
3 | Detach the hose (1) at the oil separator (2) | ||
4 | Unclip the line (3) from the bracket at the oil separator (2) | ||
5 | Unscrew bolts (2a) | Screw of oil separator to cylinder head cover | |
6 | Remove oil separator (2) | Intercept the engine oil that flows out with an absorbent rag. | |
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
Danger! | Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near engine | Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving. | |
8 | Run engine and inspect for oil leaks | ||
9 | Correct the engine oil level |
