Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.

Open engine hood and raise to vertical position

 Installation: After closing the engine hood check the locking function by pulling the engine hood jerkily to the top.

Switch off ignition

Remove partition wall between wheel wells

Only vehicles with large engine cover

Detach engine cover (1) upwards (arrows) from bolt (3) and remove

 Installation: Cover guides (2) with lubricant.
