1 Unlock plug (1) and detach from the the ME control unit (N3/10).
2 Unplug electrical connector (2).
3 Detach the tie strap and set the engine wiring harness aside.
4 Unscrew nut (3) and remove the electrical line to terminal 30 (4) of battery (G1).
5 Loosen nut (5) and remove the electrical line to terminal 30 (6) of battery (G1).
6 Remove seal (7) on the partition wall and place the engine wiring harness on the cylinder head cover.
7 Detach ground line (8) from the longitudinal member.
8 Remove heat shield (9) and detach the connector for electronic transmission control (10).
