Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Position support plates (1) parallel to intended lift support points by moving vehicle lift support arms (2)



All support plates (1) must be set at a sufficient height.
Damage due to tilting of the vehicle or contact of the vehicle lift support arms (2) with the body is thus prevented.

 If necessary, secure vehicle to prevent it from rolling.

Move vehicle lift up until support plates (1) make contact with intended lift support points


The vehicle lift support arms (2) must not make contact with the body.
Otherwise damage may occur. If necessary, equally change set height of support plates (1) to corresponding lift support points.



Check

Check correct seat of support plates (1) and mass distribution


The support plates (1) must be positioned correctly at the corresponding lift support points.
In the event of improper positioning of the support plates (1) at the intended lift support points, damage to the body may occur.

 Realign support plates (1) if necessary.

Raise vehicle to working height


When lowering the vehicle, the range of movement of the vehicle lift must be free of people, objects or other items.
Otherwise damage may occur.

When removing major assemblies or with heavy special equipment, the vehicle must be secured against tilting and falling down.


