Read out the remaining service life of the carbon brushes at the refrigeration system control panel (1).

 If necessary, replace the carbon brushes.

Remove the cover for the refrigeration system.

Inspect poly-V-belt (2) for wear and damage.

 If necessary, replace or retension the poly-V-belt (2).

Visual inspection of the refrigeration system (3) for damage and contamination

 In particular, carefully check the condenser slats and the condenser fan as well as the water drains at the front and sides of the refrigeration system housing (3).
If the condenser slats are contaminated, blow them out from the inside with compressed air. Do not clean the condenser slats with water.

 Danger!

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns when working in engine during starting procedure

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.

Start the engine and switch on the refrigeration system (3) at the refrigeration system control panel (1).

 If necessary, adjust the temperature setting for the refrigeration compartment so that it is set below the outside temperature.

Check condenser fan for proper operation.

Check the function of all evaporator blowers (4) by observing them through the front grille in the refrigeration compartment.

 If the door is open, the door contact switch must be manually pressed and held down.

Check the operation of the contact switches at the sliding door and the rear-end door.

Switch off the refrigeration system (3) at the refrigeration system control panel (1) and shut off the engine.

Check the insulation and the weatherstripping in the refrigeration compartment (5) for damage and tight fit.

Check the covers (6) at the four drain openings in the refrigeration compartment floor for tight fit.

 Replace any missing covers (6).

Check the double seals at the rear-end doors and the sliding door for damage and tight fit.

Check the left (7) and right (8) condensation water drains under the vehicle.

Clean out any clogs in the left (7) and right (8) condensation water drains.

Check the outside socket (9) for damage.

Only with stationary refrigeration for refrigerator vehicle, code ZQ1.

 In case of complaint, replace or repair the outside socket (9).

Replace the cover on the refrigeration system.
