Risk of explosion caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel and risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel

No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Remove top tank cover

Remove/install upper tank cover

Turn around insulation mat (1) toward top

Unlock electrical connector (2a) on fuel filter (3) and disconnect

Unscrew nuts (4)

Nut, fuel filter to fuel tank

Remove ring (5)

Remove fuel filter (3) from fuel tank (6)

Collect dripping fuel with absorbent rag.

Release and detach electrical connector (2b)

Remove clamp (7)

Detach fuel lines (8) from fuel filter (3)

Replace fuel filter (3)

Installation: Replace sealing ring (3a). To position, during installation of sealing ring (3a), coat three points, evenly distributed over the circumference, with a little multipurpose grease. Install ring (5) with part number to the outside and tighten nuts crosswise.
