1	Determine distance (A)	 The distance (A) is the distance measured between the end face of the check pin (1) and the machined surface on the guide bearing eye (2). It corresponds to the residual thickness of the brake pad.	*BE42.10-N-1001-11C
		 This indirect test is only a coarse check. When the dimension (A) approaches the service limit, a direct measurement by removing the wheels is possible for reasons relating to safety and tolerances: 
		Remove wheels as a separate repair order	AR40.10-T-1100B
2	Record determined brake lining thickness of the individual wheel brakes in the work log and maintenance sheet.
