Move engine into the crankshaft position of the selected setting method

Inspect valve clearance (arrow) and adjust

Check or adjust valve clearance when engine is cold only, at the earliest 30 min. following adjustment of the engine, to ensure uniform warming up. The same also applies for short-term operation.

Install in the reverse order
