ENGINES 651 in MODEL 906 with TRANSMISSION 711.680 /685 with CODE (ED5) Parameterizable special module (PSM)
After installing new software (flashing) onto the ECU CDID2, the control system for the engine control no longer functions over the PSM control unit (engine remote start-stop, working speed control).
The reason for this is the fact that after flashing, the transmission neutral-position switch has to be initialized again, before the control system functions through the PSM control unit.
To initialize the transmission neutral-position switch, drive the vehicle for a short distance, and make a gear change.
