Detaching and attaching power steering pump

1 Unscrew hexagon socket head bolts (2), remove washers (3) and detach power steering pump (1) from vacuum pump (5).

 Installation: Observe tightening torque.

2 Remove cross plate (4) from vacuum pump (5).

 Installation: Turn crankshaft of vacuum pump (5) until the guides of the cross plate (4) are horizontal. Secure cross plate (4) with grease to prevent it slipping.

3 Install in the reverse order.
