Danger! | Risk of injury to skin or eyes caused by hydraulic fluid spraying out under high pressure. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing hydraulic fluid | Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. | |
1 | Disconnect electrical connector on washer fluid reservoir, detach washer fluid reservoir and place to one side with lines connected | ||
2 | Pull air intake pipe (5) on front module (6) upwards and pull out of the air filter housing (4) | ||
3 | Suction off hydraulic fluid from the expansion reservoir (1) | | |
4 | Disconnect hydraulic hose (3) with clamp and disconnect at expansion reservoir (1) | Seal connector on expansion reservoir (1) using a suitable stop plug. | |

5 | Unscrew bolts (7) from expansion reservoir (1) | | |
6 | Detach clamp (2) | ||
7 | Detach expansion reservoir (1) from power steering pump (8) | Collect escaping hydraulic fluid and seal connector on power steering pump (8) using a suitable stop plug. | |
Installation: Replace sealing ring on power steering pump (8). | |||

8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
9 | Fill and bleed expansion reservoir (1) and power steering pump (8) |
