1 | Lower the vehicle onto the stop buffers with the level control operating unit | ||
2 | Switch off ignition | ||
3 | Disconnect electrical connector from travel sensor on front axle (B27) | ||
4 | Remove bracket (1) with mounted travel sensor on front axle (B27) from sickle-shaped cross member (2) | Secure bracket (1) with mounted travel sensor on front axle (B27) against falling down. | |
5 | Remove sickle-shaped cross member (2) | ||

6 | Check vehicle frame in area of mounting of bearing brackets (3) at right and left for damage | Only conduct, if the removed sickle-shaped cross member (2) was damaged war and had to be replaced. | |

7 | Check bearing bracket (3) at right and left for damage | Only conduct, if the removed sickle-shaped cross member (2) was damaged war and had to be replaced. | |

10 | Connect electrical connector to travel sensor on front axle (B27) | ||
11 | Raise vehicle using level control operating unit back to normal level |
