1 | Lift/jack up vehicle | ||
2 | Unhook lugs (2) at fan shroud (1) | ||
3 | Remove air filter housing (3). | ||
4 | Detach coolant hose (4) from fan shroud (1) | ||
5 | Remove cover (5) | ||
6 | Raise fan shroud (1) and unhook from brackets on engine radiator | Installation: Observe correct seating of fan shroud (1) in brackets on engine radiator. | |
7 | Push fan shroud (1) to the rear and hold | Until bolt (arrow) is accessible. Helper required | |
8 | Apply counterholder (6) | Counterholder | |
9 | Remove bolt (arrow) on viscous clutch (8) | Carefully remove bolt (arrow) otherwise engine radiator can be damaged. | |

10 | Remove fan (7) | Carefully remove fan (7) otherwise engine radiator can be damaged. | |
11 | Take out fan shroud (1) | Carefully remove fan shroud (1) otherwise engine radiator can be damaged. | |
