1 Separate electrical connectors (2)
2 Disconnect electrical connector (3) and expose electrical wiring harness (6).
3 Disconnect line (1) of the crankcase ventilation system at the Y-fitting.
4 Disconnect vacuum line of the brake booster (5) at the resonance intake manifold (4).
5 Disconnect coolant line (7) at the heater circulation pump (M13/51).

6 Disconnect refrigerant line (11) at the refrigerant compressor (A9).
For vehicles with code (HH9) Regulated air conditioning, (Tempmatic).
Seal connections with suitable stop plugs.
7 Disconnect hydraulic line (10) at the hydraulic pump (9).
Seal connections with suitable stop plugs.

8 Disconnect ground line (12) at the frame.

9 Unclip electrical connectors (13) from the retaining clamps on the transmission and disconnect them.
10 Expose electrical wiring harness (14) at the bracket (15) and on the right at the transmission.
11 Disconnect electrical line (16) at the alternator and detach at the oil pan.
12 Connect in reverse order.
