Operation
In the pneumatic supply system phase, air from the compressor flows into the inlet chamber through the connection (1). Some preliminary condensation of water that may occur in this phase is collected and sent to the valve (d) through the connection hole (c).
Air entering connection 1 through the pre-filter (e) located within the air dryer housing, passes through the camera (f) and infiltrates the dryer element (a). Humidity contained in the compressed air is extracted when the air infiltrates the dryer element and the dry air passes through the check valve (B) and flows through the outlet connection (21).
The compressed air also flows through the connection hole (c) of connection (21) to connection (22) which is connected to the regeneration tank.
When the pressure of the pneumatic system reaches the maximum level, the air pressure in chamber (D) overcomes the force of the spring acting on diaphragm (d) and allows the air flow to the atmosphere through the outlet (3). At this stage, the air in the regeneration tank returns through connection (22) by removing the humidity from the dryer element (a) because the pressure acting on chamber (f) and ducts (A) and (C) is lower than the pressure contained in the regeneration tank.
