a Filtered air

b Air with contaminant elements

c Residues deposited in the canister

The compressed air from the supercharger, presenting high temperature and containing water, oil and other contaminant elements, enters via connection 1 of the Consep.

Inside the Consep, the air makes a spiral movement and in descending direction through the cyclone (A). The air at the end of the cyclone, now with already decreased temperature, is separated from the contaminants that remain deposited in a small canister (C). This canister contains a filter (D) which retains solid oil residues.

The clean air enters the inner part of the cyclone through the orifices (B) and exits through the upper part of the valve (connection 2).

To each application of the brake or each timed application, an electric signal is transmitted to the solenoid valve (E) by connection 4 which moves the piston and eliminates the residues accumulated in the canister through the automatic drain valve.

The timed application is indicated for vehicles with little brake application.
