In conventional body.
Determine the position of the multifunction antenna (1)

 Do not use more than two extension cables A 384 820 00 04.
It may compromise the correct operation of the multifunction antenna.

 Power plant positioned in the region of the instrument cluster or ladder.

 Preferably, the antenna should be positioned on the outer side, centered on the top front of the vehicle, in order to get more signal.
However, to avoid cuts, splices and extensions in the cables, the antenna can be moved from the center of the vehicle in order to reduce the distance of the ModuleTP5.

In Double Deck body.
Determine the position of the multifunction antenna (2)

 Do not use more than two extension cables A 384 820 00 04.
It may compromise the correct operation of the multifunction antenna.

 Power plant positioned behind the driver's place.

 Preferably, the antenna should be positioned on the outer side, centered on the top front of the vehicle, in order to get more signal.
However, to avoid cuts, splices and extensions in the cables, the antenna can be moved from the center of the vehicle in order to reduce the distance of the ModuleTP5.

Perform the drilling for the installation of the multifunction antenna.

 Before drilling, consult the technical documentation of the body manufacturer.
To avoid structure damages.

 If the drilling is performed on metal panel of the front roof, consider surface painting for corrosion protection.

Install the multifunction antenna.

 Do not cut or mend the extensions supplied with the kit.
It may compromise the correct operation of the multifunction antenna.
