1 Workbench accessories
M5 = Gage of the workbench supply circuit, 0.2 bar divisions.
M1 = M2 = Gages of the test circuits with 0.2 bar divisions.
T1 = T3 = T7 = T9 = T12 = T13 = Valves (taps).
V1 = Pressure reducing valve of the bench supply circuit.
V2 = V3 = Test circuits pressure reducing valves.
R25 = 25 liters air reservoir of the workbench supply circuit.
R1 = Test circuits 1 liter air reservoirs.
(1) = (2) = (3) = Workbench fast couplings.

2 Visual check
Check the valve for external damages.

3 Connect the valve to the workbench
Assemble the valve on the workbench according to the corresponding diagram and connect:
Fast coupling (1) (test bench) on connection 1.
Fast coupling (2) (test bench) on connection 4.

4 Prepare for test
Operate the pressure reduction valve V1 e apply 9 bar in the test bench supply circuit. Confirm the pressure on gage M5.
Operate the regulating valve V2 and apply 6 bar in the circuit 1. Confirm the pressure on gage M1.
Operate the regulating valve V3 and apply 6 bar in the circuit 4. Confirm the pressure on gage M2.
Through the regulating valve V2 increase and diminish the pressure from 10 to 15 times in the circuit 4 so that the valve is actuated. This procedure is necessary for a good accommodation of the components.

5 Test the tightness
Keep the circuit 1 with 6 bar through the valve V2. Confirm on gage M1.
Through the valve V3 alternate the pressure in the circuit 4. Maintain the piston in both final positions, apply neutral soap foam and check for leaks. In these positions the valve should not present leaks through the exhaustion 3.
Apply neutral soap foam around the valve and check for possible leaks.
Note:During the move of the piston (10) a little air outlet will occur around the protection plate (13). This air comes from the piston chamber through the vent. Therefore, it must not be mistaken as a leakage.
Should leaks arise, disassemble the valve and replace the damaged components.

6 Test the operation
Exhaustion of the reservoir's residue:
Through the valve V2 apply 6 bar in the circuit 1. Confirm the pressure on gage M1.
Thorugh the valve V3 apply 6 bar in the circuit 4. Confirm the pressure on gage M2.
Alternate the pressure in the control circuit 4 of 6 to 1 bar several times.
With the pressure increase and reduction in the circuit 4 the valve should do the momentarily discharge through the exhaustion 3.
Note:The valve will carry out two openings every control circuit, being one at the actuation (piston displacement to the right) and another in the de-actuation (piston displacement to the left).

7 Remove the valve from the test bench
De-pressurize and disconnect the test hoses.
Remove the valve from the workbench and protect the connections with suitable plugs.
