3 | Remove release bolt (11) at left combination cylinder (1) or right combination cylinder (2). | Installation: Left combination cylinder (1) and right combination cylinder (2) are supplied with loosened release bolt (11). | |

4 | Depressurize air brake system | Pull vent valve on compressed-air reservoir. | |
5 | Clean connections of compressed-air lines (3, 4, 9, 10) | ||
6 | Mark compressed-air lines (3, 4, 9, 10) | Installation: Observe installation position of compressed-air lines (3, 4, 9, 10). | |
7.1 | Remove banjo bolts (5, 6) and take off compressed-air lines (3, 4). | Only when removing left combination cylinder (1). | |
Plug connections of compressed-air lines (3, 4) with suitable plugs. | |||
Installation: Install new sealing rings. | |||

8.1 | Remove banjo bolts (7, 8) and take off compressed-air lines (9, 10). | Only when removing right combination cylinder (2). | |
Plug connections of compressed-air lines (9, 10) with suitable plugs. | |||
Installation: Install new sealing rings. | |||

9 | Remove cotter pin (14) and take out pin (13). | Installation: Install new cotter pin (14). | |
10 | Remove nuts (12) and take off left combination cylinder (1) or right combination cylinder (2). | Installation: Install new washers for nuts (12). | |

11 | Install in the reverse order | ||
Danger! | Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns when working in engine during starting procedure | Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving. | |
12 | Allow the engine to run until the air brake system comes up to pressure. | ||
13 | Adjust play of drum brake. |
