Dismantle

Lightly compress the cylinder (5)

Use a press or suitable device.



Previously mark the position of cylinder (5), cylinder cover (14) and belt (4) in relation to the assembly.

Loosen the nut (2), remove the screw (3) and the holding belt (4)

 Release the press pressure.

Remove the diaphragm (6) from the cylinder (5)

Remove the plunger (7), the spring seat (11), the spring (12) and the cup (13) from the cylinder (5)



Clean

Wash the parts and check them for damage and wear

 Use a suitable product so as to not damage the component's rubber parts.



Assemble

 The repair kit parts should be replaced at each disassembly.

 The lower hole of the cylinder cover (14) should stay open.

 The internal parts of the cylinder and the parts to be installed should be free of grease or other type of lubricant.

Mount the cup (13) to the cylinder cover (14)

Mount the cylinder cover (14) onto a press or suitable device and install the conical spring (12), the spring seat (11), the plunger (7), the diaphragm (6) and the cylinder (5)

 Set the cylinder (5), the cylinder cover (14) and the belt (4) so as to match the marking made in the disassembly.

Lightly compress the cylinder (5)

 Use a press or suitable device.



Mount the belt (4), insert the screw (3) with the nut (2) and the complement (1)

 Apply the specified torque to the nut (2).



 After tightening the nut (2), slightly knock the belt (4) with a plastic hammer, it will ensure a perfect seating of the parts.



Test

Install the membrane cylinder onto the bench and perform the test
