1 | Release the parking brake | Chock the vehicle. | |
Pressurize the pneumatic system | |||
2 | Remove the bolt (4) | Installing: Apply the specified torque. | |

3 | Remove the retaining bow of the brake pads (5) | Do not carry out the clearance adjustment with the retaining bow installed. | |
4 | Remove cover (2). | ||
5 | Move the pads against the brake disc | Turn the hex screw of the adjusting mechanism (3) counterclockwise (left). | |
6 | Determine the clearance between disc and pad. | Turn the hex screw of the adjusting mechanism (3) clockwise, 1/4 of one turn, establishing the clearance. | |

7 | Install the cover (2). | ||
8 | Install the new retaining bow of the brake pads | Press it so that the spring cams fit in the bow. | |
9 | After actuating the service brake, the wheel hub must turn freely by hand after releasing the brake. |
