1	Position the projector (5) with the fastening pin to measure the expansion on the projector support (4).

2	Turn the wheel to the left on the rotating plate (3) by angle (a). a = 20°.

3	Place the projector (5) in the horizontal in vehicle longitudinal direction and tighten the wing screw.

4	Set the scale disc to measure expansion (33) to 0 on the wheel to be measured.

5	Turn the wheel to the right on the rotating plate (3) by angle (a) . a = 20°

6	Turn the turning button (29) until the level is centered.

7	Read the measuring value off the scale disc for the measurement of expansion (33) (for ex. "expansion of the right wheel" 5°).

8	Record the measuring value on the alignment form.

9	Carry out the expansion measurement of the other wheel the same way
