1 Lift the vehicle by its front axle and support on stands.
2 Set the dial gage (8) so that the measuring wheel (43) is at axle center height.
3 Rest the measuring wheel (43) closest possible to the tire center and turn the wheel manually. The measuring indicator variance represents the wheel center run out (1 division= 1 mm).
4 Compare the indicated value with the nominal value. If the nominal value is exceeded, change the tire position on the rim. Should the nominal value still be exceeded, check the centering of the wheel and replace the tire or the wheel.
