The differential and crown gear taper roller bearings should always be replaced as a set.
Remove
1 Install the extractor (3) on the taper roller bearings (1).
2 Remove the taper roller bearings (1) from half the spider case (2).
3 Similarly, turn the differential ring gear set and remove the taper roller bearings from the other half of the spider case.
