Release the sliding screw blocking nut (2).

Remove the sliding screw (1), along with the nut (2) and the sliding insert (3).
Removal of the ring gear back adjustment screws with a rectangular sliding insert is only possible by removing the cover from the housing.
Install - ring gear back adjustment screw with round sliding insert

Apply a sealing agent to the screw thread (1) and screw it into the hole until the insert (3) touches the ring gear.

Return the screw (*), obtaining the clearance (A) between the crown and the insert. .

Tighten the locknut (2), locking the screw against the rear axle housing.
Install - ring gear back adjustment screw with rectangular sliding insert

Fasten the sliding insert with device (1) to the side of the ring gear.

Turn the ring gear until the sliding insert hole is aligned with the hole of the adjusting screw.

Apply a sealing agent to the screw thread and screw it lightly against the hole in the insert.

Return the screw (*), obtaining the prescribed clearance between the ring gear and the insert. .
10
Tighten the lock-nut, locking the screw against the rear axle housing.
