| Remove | ||
1 | Remove the wheels | ||
2 | Remove the brake drum | ||
Mark the drum position regarding the hub. | |||
3 | Remove the half-shaft | ||
4 | Release the locking of the outer nut (1) and remove it | Use an appropriated socket. | |
5 | Remove the lock plate (2) | ||
6 | Remove the internal nut (3) | Use an appropriated socket. | |
7 | Remove tapered roller bearing (4) | ||
8 | Remove the rear wheel hub (5) | ||
9 | Remove the taper roller bearings (6) | ||
10 | Remove the radial sealing (7) of wheel hub (5) | ||
| Install | ||
11 | Install the tapered roller bearing (6) | Lubricate with grease. | |
Grease, DB supply specification 6804 - Class 267.0 | |||
12 | Install the radial seal (7) on the wheel hub (5) | Use a new radial seal. | |
13 | Install the rear wheel hub (5) | | |
Put grease on the sealing sliding race. | |||
14 | Install the tapered roller bearing (4) | Lubricate with grease. | |
Grease, DB supply specification 6804 - Class 267.0 | |||
15 | Install the internal nut (3), lock plate (2), external nut (1) | Use an appropriated socket. | |

16 | Install the brake drum | ||
Press the brake drum against the wheel hub with the help of two 180° offset hex nuts. | |||
17 | Install the half-shaft | ||
18 | Install the wheels |
