Remove the wheel

Remove the screws (13) and remove the cover (12) with the seal (11)

Release the bolt with cylindrical head (9) and remove the locking nut (10)

Remove the device to extract and install from the front wheel hub (5)

Remove the tapered roller bearing (7) from the front wheel hub (5)

Remove ABS measuring ring

Remove the tapered roller bearing (3) and the retainer (2) from the front wheel hub (5)

Check the tapered roller bearings (3, 7) for condition

If the tapered roller bearings (3, 7) show wear, corrosion and/or damage:



Remove the outer rings from the tapered roller bearings (4, 6).



Install

Install the tapered roller bearings outer rings (4, 6) on front wheel hub (5)

 Utilize an appropriate mandrel.

Install the tapered roller bearing (3) and the retainer (2) of the front wheel hub (5)

Install the ABS measuring ring

Fill the front wheel hub (5) with grease

Remove the device to extract and install from the front wheel hub (5)

Grease the tapered roller bearing (7) and install it in the front wheel hub (5)

Install the thrust plate (8) and the locking nut (10)

Tighten the locking nut (10) until the tapered roller bearings (3, 7) touch with no clearance

 While tightening, turn the front wheel hub (5) and apply some crossed blows with a rubber hammer on the hub.
