4 | Stretch the cord between the two measurement bars and adjust the distance to the vehicle chassis | Distance : - at vehicles with straight chassis, 1000 mm in the front and back, - at vehicles with limited chassis, 1000 mm in the front and 1070 mm back. | |
5 | Measure the side deformation of the vehicle chassis | using the cord device | |
If the side deformation is out of tolerance: | |||
Correct the side deformation of the chassis. | |||
6 | Measure the curve and distortion of the vehicle chassis | using the cord device | |
If the distortion is out of tolerance: | |||
Correct the vertical deformation of chassis. | |||
7 | Measure the diagonal displacement of the vehicle chassis | ||
If the diagonal displacement of the vehicle chassis is out of tolerance, replace the vehicle chassis. |
