If reinforcements are placed in cross members region, then cross members must be correspondingly shortened. End cross members are separate right and left and welded again. All other cross members are separated in the center, correspondingly shortened and welded again. Welded cross members should be strengthened.
1 Remove the rivets of the cross members (2) and loose screws (1).
The rivets are replaced with flange screws M16 (10.9).

2 Place reinforcements (3) on the chassis, place the new or shortened cross member (2).
3 Install the reinforcements (3) and cross members (2) on frame rail.
