Remove/install

Remove the oil pan screws (3)

Remove the oil sieve (3) from the gearbox (4)

 During removal, it might be necessary to tap the oil pan (3) using a rubber hammer to release the seal.

 Installation: Clean the contact surface from any residue remaining from the previous seal.

 Installation: Apply seal to the whole oil pan surface (3).

Remove the oil sieve (5)

 Installation:
Whenever possible, when changing the oil, change the oil sieve (5) with a new one.
If it is saturated with metal particles or used oil residues, there will be contamination of the new gearbox oil (4), which can cause internal components to wear out.

 Installation: Replace the O-ring in the oil sieve (5). Make sure that the oil sieve (5) fits tightly into the gearbox holes (4).



Check

Check the oil pan (3)

 Check for cracks, wear or other conditions that could cause oil leakage.

If it has any damage:



Replace this with a new one.

Check the oil sieve (5)

Thoroughly clean the oil sieve (5) if it is heavily contaminated with impurities:



Replace with a new one.

Install in reverse order
