Installation | Replace self-locking nuts and bolts. | ||
1 | Secure vehicle against rolling | ||
2 | Support engine using a suitable assembly lifter | Additionally use suitable wooden or rubber supports, otherwise the oil pan can be damaged. | |
Ensure secure status of the assembly lifter and freedom of tension of the engine when supporting. | |||
3 | Remove lateral strut (2) | | |
4 | Unscrew bolt (4) | | |
5 | Remove bolts (5) | | |
6 | Remove engine mounts (8) | Installation: Observe correct seating of the engine mount (8). Check engine mount (8) for wear; replace if necessary. | |
7 | Remove engine supports (1) | Installation: Ensure engine support (1) is seated correctly. | |
8 | Install in the reverse order |
