3 Bolt fastening the supply tube and the air compressor

4 Dipstick guide tube

5 Oil filler neck

6 Inlet tube (coolant) for cooling.

7 Intake pipe

8 Outlet pipe

9 Return tube (coolant)

10 Air compressor

11 Hydraulic Pump

12 Compressor fastening bolts with integrated washer.

13 Compressor fastening bolts

14 Sealing gasket

	Remove and install
Danger!	Risk of personal and material damage when cranking the engine with the gearbox engaged in gear. Risk of personal damage when carrying out jobs with the engine heated-up and running. 1	Turn-off the master switch, or detach the battery negative lead.	Loosen the lead bolt on the side rail avoiding loosening the poles.
2	Tilting the engine hood.	On vehicles with chassis: 386.0; 386.3; 388.0.	AR88.40-B-1000A
3	Open the engine rear cover.	On vehicles (buses): 664.0; 664.1; 664.2.
4	Remove the bolts (1) of the filler neck flange (5).		*BA01.45-B-1005-01C
5	Remove the bolt (3) fastening the oil filler neck (5) on the air compressor (10).		*BA13.30-B-1009-01D
6	Remove the filler neck (5).
7	Remove the nipple (2), the dipstick and the guide tube (4).		*BA01.45-B-1004-01C
8	Detach the inlet pipe (7) and outlet pipe (8).		*BA13.30-B-1011-01D
9	Remove the inlet pipe (6).
10	Remove the return pipe (9).
11	Remove the bolts (12) and (13) and fastening of the air compressor.		*BA13.30-B-1009-01D
12	Remove the hydraulic steering pump (11).		AR46.30-B-0500A
13	Remove the air compressor (10).
14	Remove the gasket (14).	 Clean the contact surface for a perfect seal.
		 Apply a layer of elastosil in the joint of the engine block with the camshaft drive gear cover.	*BR00.45-B-1009-01A
15	Install in reverse order.
