Properly clean the inlet or exhaust valve seat (1).
The figure on the side refers to the engines of the 900 series.

Cover the entire face of the valve seat (2) with a thin layer of Contact ink.
Use an inlet or exhaust valve matching the seat, in perfect condition (new or reworked).

Insert the valve (2) in the valve guide and, with alternating movements, hit the valve twice against the seat (1), applying moderate force.

Remove the valve (2) and make sure that the seat face (1) is uniformly covered by the contact ink.
Replace and/or rework the seat if you notice irregular contact.

Properly clean the seat and the valve.
