Support the dial gage carrier (2) on the cylinder head mating surface.

Install the dial gauge (1) so the feeler touches the cylinder head mating surface with some pre-load.

Fasten the dial indicator (1) to the support (2) and adjust the scale to zero "0".
4
Move the comparator until the feeler touches the valve head surface (3).
If the value obtained is not within recommended values (B), check valve and seat.
