1.1 | Remove the engine flywheel | Vehicles with mechanical gearbox. | |
1.2 | Remove the ring gear support | Vehicles with automatic gearbox. | |
2 | Remove the radial retainer (1) with the lever (2) | Cover the crankshaft flange with a cloth for its protection. Do not damage the distribution housing. | |

| Clean | ||
3 | Clean the distribution housing in the area of the radial retainer (1) removed from the engine flywheel flange or from the ring gear support flange | ||
| Check | ||
4 | Check the radial retainer bearing surface (1) in the engine flywheel flange or the ring gear support flange | In the case there operation marks in the flywheel flange or in the ring gear support flange, replace the flywheel. | |
| Install | ||
5 | Install a new radial retainer (1) | Press the radial retainer (1) evenly, with the installation device (3). | |
