1
Pull, with pressure, the bushing (2) from the connecting rod (1)..
Utilize appropriate drift and support base to pull the bushing (2) uniformly.
Be careful and do not damage the connecting rod bushing housing.
If damaged the connecting rod must be replaced
2
Check the housing of the bushing in the connecting rod (1). . . .
If there are signs of removal of material (derived from the bush extraction), deformation and/or diameter out of the specified,
Replace the connecting rod..
It is indispensable to observe that the bushing external diameter and the housing internal diameter of the, be within the specified values. With this, the required assembly interference will be obtained, between the bushing and the housing.

3
Support the connecting rod (1) on an appropriate base and install the bushing (2), with pressure, with the help of an appropriate drift.
Position the bushing (2) in the connecting rod (1) so that after installed, the lubrication holes of the bushing and the connecting rod coincide.
4
Internally machine the bushing (2) until obtaining the recommended diameter
5
Route the sides of the bushing (2) following the trapeze shape of the connecting rod (1).
The replacement bushing is supplied in a parallel shape, in order to facilitate its installation in the connecting rod.
When routing the bushing sides, avoid the cutting tool contact with the connecting rod.
