Remove the starter (M1)

Remove the flywheel (8)

Remove the ground strap and the parts assembled on the flywheel/timing case (2)

Remove the turn sensor (B15)

Installation: Press the turn sensor (B15) up to the stop.

Slightly loosen all screws (5) from the oil pan (6)


Dispose of the screws (5) after disassembly.
Otherwise the chemical lock will no longer be efficient.

Use the microencapsulated screws (5) for mounting M8x35 - N000000002815

Lower the oil pan (6)

When removing the flywheel / timing housing (2), be careful not to damage the oil pan gasket (4).
Should it be necessary to replace the oil pan gasket (4), remove the oil pan (6).

Remove housing to block screws (1) and remove flywheel /timing housing (2)

Apply sealing product on the contact surface of the flywheel/timing case (2) to the block.

Installation: Install the flywheel /timing housing (2) paying attention to the perfect positioning to the guide pins (3).

Sealant Loctite 574, 50 ml

Clean the contact surface between the flywheel/timing case (2) and the block

Replace the crankshaft (7) rear seal in the timing case (2)
