Remove the cylinder head

Remove the injector holders

Remove the cover (1)

 Installation: Replace the O-ring (2).

Shim the valve (9) with the support piece (11)

 The support piece, approximately 5.3 mm high, is to be installed between the valve and the base where the cylinder head is supported.

Remove the piston (4) using a needle nose pliers

 Be careful not to damage the sealing ring (3).

Remove the sealing ring (3) from piston (4)

 Installation: Install new sealing ring (3) on piston (4) with device (14).

Compress the spring (7) with the compressor (13) and remove the tapered keys (5)

 If necessary, use a small hook to dislodge the valve conical keepers.

 Installation: Support the spring compressor (13) on the upper plate (6) and compress the spring (7) until you are capable of fitting the keepers (5).
Slowly relieve the load on the spring (7), so the keepers (5) remain attached to the valve stem (9).

Relieve the load on the spring and remove the plate (6), the spring (7) and the guide (8)

 Observe the position of the top spring retainer (6) and the bottom guide (8).

 Assembly: Mount the guide (8), the spring (7) and the plate (6).
Fit the keepers (5) on the plate (6).

Rotate the cylinder head and remove the valve (9)

 Mark the valve and its seat.

 Oil the valve stem with engine oil and insert it in the cylinder head. Shim the valve using the 5.3 mm height support piece (11).

Install in reverse order
