Jack up vehicle at rear axle and place on axle stands

Raise vehicle

 Secure vehicle at the front axle to prevent it rolling away.

1 Position a mobile vehicle jack or inspection pit lift below the leaf spring (Fig.) and raise the rear axle beam.

2 Support with jack stands in suitable positions.

3 Lower vehicle onto jack stands.
