1 | Remove the platform over the articulation | ||
| Remove and install the articulation system platform | ||
| Check | ||
2 | Check the articulation's cast structure (1) for rust, damages and/or surface deformations | ||
3 | Check the articulation bearing metal-rubber bushings (3), joint between the cars, for damages or wear | In case of cracks or fissures in the rubber (4) the bushings are to be replaced. | |
The bushings are to be replaced also in those cases of noises in the bearing areas or vehicle instability during the drive. | |||
Replace the articulation bearing bushings subject to separate repair order. | |||
4 | Check the articulation shock absorbers (2) for damages and leaks, chiefly in the sealing area of the shock absorber stem (arrow) | In the case of damage or leakage, the shock absorbers are to be replaced. | |
Repair the leaks or replace the damaged parts subject to separate repair order. | |||
