1 | Drain the AdBlue from the pump module (1) | Place an adequate container under the pump module (1) to drain the AdBlue. | |
2 | Remove filter bowl (8) | ||
3 | Remove the sealing ring (7) | ||
4 | Remove the freeze protection membrane (6) | ||
5 | Remove the filtering element (5) with the sealing ring (4) | Remove the filtering element (5) by turning it lightly. | |
| Install | ||
6 | Install the breather nipple (11) | Only if the breather nipple (11) is not already pre-assembled in the filter bowl (8). | |
For that, press the breather (11) inwards the filter bowl (8) in the hole provided for this, until an audible snap is perceived. | |||
7 | Install the filter element (5) | For that, fit the filtering element (5) with the sealing ring (4) through the pin (3) and press up to the backrest. | |
8 | Position the freeze protection membrane (6) through the filter element (5) over the filter bowl (2) | The groove in the filter bowl (2) should be free from dirt and stranger bodies. | |
The sealing edge (9) should fit correctly along the groove in the filter bowl (2). | |||
9 | Apply anti-friction product around the sealing edge (9) | Always use the prescribed spray as anti-friction product. | |
This prevent damages in the exhaust gas after-treatment system. | |||

10 | Apply the anti-friction product in the thread of the filter bowl (2) | Always use the prescribed spray as anti-friction product. | |

11 | Place the sealing ring (7) in the groove provided in the filter bowl (8) | The groove should be free from dirt and stranger bodies. | |
12 | Install the filter bowl (8) | Filter housing in the pump module | |
13 | Connect the diagnose equipment and reprogram the ACM control unit | Turn on the ignition and start the application. | |
Select the corresponding vehicle and start a quick test. |
